Our group of nine weekend mountain bikers were looking for an inexpensive holiday in Cyprus. After rejecting two other options, we settled on Mountain Bike Cyprus's offer, as it ticked all our boxes; economical, good looking rides, complete package including full sus Marin mountain bikes. Our only worry was that at the price quoted it might be poor quality.
However within a couple of minutes of arriving at the airport, our fears proved groundless; we were met by the smiling faces of Kirsty and Al who took us to our two luxury apartments, of a far higher standard than ones we have stayed in on other trips.
We were given a hire bike each for the week to use for any local trips; a real bonus, as this meant we didn't have to use any taxis or public transport. The following day we were given our mountain bikes; immaculately maintained, good quality and spotless, individually adjusted to our heights and weights.

The trails were a mixture to suit all tastes and skills, from flowing roads to impossibly difficult technical rides; something to please everyone in our group.The Troodos loops were almost flat, but single track with quite a lot of technical bits over compacted rocks with sheer drops on one side. No one was able to ride it all first time. The Akamas trails had fast flowing but in places very slippery downhills interspersed with steep climbs. Even better, Al and Kirsty were able to adjust their planned rides to fit in extra rides to suit the wishes of our group.
At the end of each day our bikes,( including those which two of our group had brought with them), were taken away for a thorough clean and maintenance. Al was an excellent mechanic and coped with almost all the punishment we gave his bikes, only charging us for a couple of parts that were irreparable.
Kirsty provided us with very good packed lunches every riding day and even gave us a choice. She also gave us useful advice about shops and restaurants and drove us to cheap supermarkets.
We would thoroughly recommend this company and would be happy to use them again.
